Inclusive Wedding Reception

Highland, NY just 1 hour 20 minutes to Manhattan

Includes the following below: 

4 days of exclusive use of the Liberty View Farm property. 

You will have exclusive use of our beautiful grounds, 20 gardens set within 20 sprawling acres, premium reception tent, The Party Barn- a beautifully designed event space. This also allows your guests to stroll through our beautiful property, perusing all of our gardens, arbors, apple orchard, barns and taking in the views of the Catskill Mountains and Gunks.

Lodging

Farmhouse & Cabin

During your event throughout your destination wedding weekend you and your guests have complimentary use of our farmhouse, This includes 3 bedrooms 2 full baths and an additional outdoor private shower and Cabin .

Check in at 3pm on the first day. Check out 3pm the fourth day. 

Complimentary use of cabin which is hidden and located in the middle of the orchard sleeps two and very often becomes the bridal suite.

Designated areas for campers is available for 8 tents

Reception Tent

Custom made tent 50’x 100’’ with sides that are 9.5’ high, perfect for weddings with 50 guests and up to 400 guests. We have lounge furniture, bars and a beautiful horse trailer that we use as a bar or photo booth and is used as a prop on one side of tent for smaller weddings ensuring tent is always looking like the perfect size. The tent features center poles that are 28-feet high, making it the tallest tent on the market, the height alone also makes it very impressive. It boasts café sidewalls, dimabel perimeter lighting and romantic bistro lighting with additional spotlight and other accent lighting. Surrounded by apple orchards, beautifully maintained lawns on another side and flanked by very large arbor with massive cedar posts which is also lit and beautifully landscaped, flowers and vines abound. The tent, barn, and arbor are wonderfully placed and a Silver Maple tree create the perfect amount of shade. The tent has very high sides also providing a gentle breeze on days when breezes are welcome. The third side of the tent is sited right next to other barns making for a remarkable design that is practical and visually stimulating.

Barn

Party barn for events like dancing sited just 11’ from tent. A wonderful design where loud music does not interfere with people who are sitting at their dining seat. The barn opens up on three sides and one side opens more than 3/4 of the way on the side facing the tent. You can see everything and hear everything but everyone’s ears are not being blown out. People stay longer since they can have conversations where the dance floor is not right on top of dining tables.

The barn can also be used for dining, dancing or both!

Floral design

Assistance with cutting flowers and incorporating their use throughout the whole weekend. Hundreds of bud vases and larger vessels are available for floral table arrangements consisting of seasonal* and in-bloom flowers from the farm to be used during the whole weekend for tables, bars, welcome tables bathrooms bedrooms, ceremonial area for inside the tent and party barn.  Flowers will be used for on-site rehearsal dinner, wedding reception and brunch. Specific floral arrangements and floral designs may be hired out and certain designs are your responsibility to be installed by a professional florist at the ceremony site and inside the event tent and or barn and or ceremonial area.

Perfect in many ways to keep all food, drink and even flowers refrigerated for the whole weekend. Caterers love this!

Ceremony

 You are invited to hold your ceremony on the property, prior to the wedding reception, for no additional cost. We have a beautiful grand very large Silver Maple tree, surrounded by gardens and stone walls. Many other trees on the north side of this grand tree create a canopy just perfect for holding a cocktail reception where the trees create a wonderful amount of shade. This ceremony site is perfectly sited.

Immediately following the ceremony, that area will be transformed into a cocktail reception where lawn games will be put out on our beautifully manicured lawns and cocktails and food will be served. 

Lovely old growth trees, we call the Grove, also provide an abundance of shade.

The barn may also be used for the ceremony as well as a few other places on the farm. 

Bon-fire

Late-night Bon-fire included.

This is an additional service that we coordinate for you and we also provide the wood, build bon-fire

We also provide all the smores’ and smores’ bar with silver platters and 3’ sparklers.

Catering and Vendors

You may use anyone you want. Please ask us for our suggested vendor list. This is to help guarantee that your event meets the high quality and perfection that we expect of ourselves and all vendors, every wedding aspect is important to us. 

Brunch

The morning after the wedding is perfect for brunch on the farm. 

Tent, barn, garden or orchard- all wonderful places to host your wedding brunch.

We will help you retain caterer or bagels for delivery and set-up.

Weather

We are located in an area that is called a rain shadow, we are located 600 feet up on a hill. Out of 156 weddings only 5 have had some rain that is something that is great for hosting events but has caused me to install many watering systems because my farm is often very dry. We can see storms all around us miles away but rain falls here much less often. If there is a threat of inclement weather we have several solutions to hold ceremony and cocktail reception under cover in barn or tent! Out of all the weddings we had in 2019 there was only one where there was rain on the day of the wedding and it came in when everyone was already seated for dinner reception, hours after the cocktail reception and ceremony.

Apple Picking

Each wedding is part of our Ag-tourism initiative and with that, 

each wedding booking receives 100 of our famous *CSA Apple Tree Leases. 

*Seasonally your guests can go apple picking after brunch

and even pick and bake apple pies just as you arrive on the farm prior to your wedding. .

All of these items above and more are included in the flat fee 

We are not caterers but we help set up tables, chairs and many props

we also do clean up after each aspect throughout the weekend.

Billiam also includes weekly phone calls and holds your hand through the whole process, from when you book to organizing when you head home after the wedding.

We also offer complimentary use of Liberty View Farm for your engagement photos if you are having your wedding at the farm. If you are having your wedding elsewhere but are interested in the farm for a photoshoot, we charge $350 for a 2 hour appointment on the farm.

We are very grateful and in turn give 100% to you and all your guests, you save money and time because of all we provide, we are co-sharing the farm for the weekend and every couple co-shares all of the items we have, the farm and farmhouse thus saving you lots of money and giving you peace of mind. Liberty View Farm has acquired many items for weddings over the past ten years and now you have the opportunity to use them not having to acquire theses items yourself. We love seeing smiles all around and love the fact that our events run smoothly and everyone is impressed. Every couple, their friends and families have said their wedding was perfect, every one of the 130 weddings I have hosted have been a wonderful experience all around.
